Daxton had been fantasizing about being a musician since around age 5. He grew up miming on plastic toy guitars before getting his very first guitar at age 8 on Christmas morning.

He took a few lessons from family to get started but quickly had to learn on his own after his teacher moved away.

Daxton played sports like football, basketball, and baseball growing up before fully committing to becoming a professional musician at age 12.

Dax performed at talent shows and filled in for a couple songs for cover bands until his first on full-band stage performance at the Whiskey A Go-Go at age 16 as apart of "Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp". From there he formed his first band KIRRA after leaving a local rock school.

KIRRA started making moves very early on in their formation. Dax has stated in interviews that "at one point, we would write a song, polish it up, and by the next rehearsal we'd add a new song, polish the two new ideas, and so on for about 5 weeks straight.

This writing frenzy ended in about 6 songs, which would end up making it's way onto KIRRA's first demo tape. KIRRA then paid their dues by hitting the road and investing in getting their name across the country.

As Dax saw every corner of the U.S. a few times over, he learned how to manage a bands tour finances, strategies merch sales, and put on rockin' shows in the face of all the variables of the road like broken gear, sound issues, weather, and anything you can imagine.

All these experiences formed the foundation for the release of his solo music that's been orchestrating behind the scenes, until now...
